What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.*
We had two baptism events this school year!
These happenings always make me very happy! It's a joy to watch that my family in Christ is growing. I wish to know more of their stories and on how they came to follow Jesus in the water of baptism.
The first baptism was with mostly people from other villages. There were five, one of which is a student here at Sunshine Orchard. The second baptism was with mostly students.
Here are some photos, with prayers that you will enjoy and be blessed by them.
First baptism - November 18, 2016
Pastor Shem officiated the baptism of the five candidates. The lady in blue is not one of them as she was just assisting her mother who was not in good health.
This grandma's husband (pictured below with crutches) is an SDA and a regular attendee at our Sabbath worship. What a joy to finally have her get baptized. A few weeks later she passed away.
The father of one of our students. This man's two children have been baptized for a long time. Is it not wonderful when a whole family decides to follow Jesus?

In the beautiful Moei river that borders Thailand and Burma with her scenic mountains (left), we gathered to witness the happy event.
K'Baw Moo -- who graduated from MBT recently -- was from a Sunday-keeping church. Praise the Lord that she has decided to keep the true Sabbath.
As for two of the baptized students, their Buddhist parents didn't approve after they asked for permission. Like some others in the past, they courageously went ahead even with the risk of being cast out from the family...
Beau, a volunteer teacher from WA.
The 18 souls that were ringing the bells of heaven!
Two of our students who were baptized at the refugee camp last December.
O precious is the flow
that makes me white as snow;
no other fount I know;
nothing but the blood of Jesus. *
